If your vehicle is written off or stolen, other insurers will generally only pay out the retail value according to TransUnion book value. In the current market, to replace your vehicle, you may end up paying way above its retail value.

To determine the true replacement value at the time of loss, we simply take the average price of the top 10 independent dealer listings for similar vehicles from the Autotrader. We then pay the greater of either that value or the retail value.
